Colour: Black body, red and white bill.

Lifespan: Upto 40 years.

Sexing: Dimorphic, males (cob) are generally bigger than females (pen).

Distribution:  South Eastern and South Western Australia.

Habitat: Wetlands.

Threats: Secure in wild.

Young: Cygnets

Collective: Bank on the ground and a wedge in flight.
